1. Subscription Activation
Your Chamabox™ workspace activates automatically the moment Safaricom confirms your M-Pesa payment. A welcome email containing your sign-in details is dispatched immediately afterwards.
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First Subscription Only)
If your first ever Chamabox™ subscription does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of the initial payment, provided that:
- You have not invited more than ten (10) members to the workspace; and
- You have not processed more than fifty (50) member contributions through the system.
The guarantee does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or to the one-time "Own It (Self-Hosted)" plan.
3. Renewals & Mid-Cycle Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current paid period. Your workspace remains active until the end of the billing cycle, after which it is suspended.
4. Plan Downgrades
Downgrades take effect on the next billing cycle. No mid-cycle pro-rated refund is issued for a downgrade.
5. Plan Upgrades
When you upgrade mid-cycle, the difference between plans is charged immediately and your renewal date is preserved.
6. Failed M-Pesa Transactions
If M-Pesa debits your account but the workspace is not provisioned within thirty (30) minutes, contact info@chamabox.com with the M-Pesa transaction code. We will either provision the workspace or issue a full refund within seven (7) business days.
7. Duplicate Payments
Accidental duplicate payments are refunded in full to the originating M-Pesa number within seven (7) business days, no questions asked. Email us the two transaction codes.
8. Own It (Self-Hosted) Plan
The Own It plan is a one-time perpetual licence. Because installation, customisation and source-code delivery begin immediately on payment, refunds are not available once delivery has commenced. A demo and detailed scope walkthrough are provided before purchase.
9. How to Request a Refund
Email info@chamabox.com from the address used to register the workspace, including:
- Your workspace name and admin email;
- The M-Pesa transaction code(s); and
- A brief reason for the request.
Approved refunds are returned via M-Pesa to the originating phone number within seven (7) business days.
